With Spiral Bound, Rebecca Sugar established a distinct sound; affectingly soft, rich in imagery, and beautiful in its simplicity and poignancy. Much of that album grappled with the feelings of isolation and burnout that Rebecca experienced as a showrunner.

Lonely Magic, Rebecca’s second studio release, presents an evolution of the sounds in Spiral Bound, adding robust instrumentation, unexpectedly bold soundscapes, and a connected throughline of themes just as relatable and personal as the subjects of the first album. On these 7 heartfelt tracks, Rebecca works through complex feelings of belonging, connection, love and loneliness.
